Leaking Boot seal

Hi..........
I have a hdi xantia forte estate , how can i stop the boot from getting so wet ???? [:(]
The passenger footwells are soaking.

on my xantia i found the rear door seal was leaking which might be why your footwells are wet, cleaned all the things out that were growing in the seal..... touch of mastic.... sorted

You will proberly find its not the rear tailgate seal.Its more likely to be the plastic membrain inside the tailgate.If you take off the cover/trim inside the tailgate,you will see a clear plastic cover.This stops water leaking into the car through the rear wiper mounting.More than likely this has come away from the tailgate & needs resealing.
I`ve had this on mine too,its a well known fault with estates.
