Xantia Ride Hight
Could anyone give me an easy figure, say from ground to lip of wheel arch at 12'o clock position, for Xant 1.9TD '97. I have looked in the Haynes and it looks rather complicated.
You can do a very simple but quite accurate check by measuring from any static point to any point on the vehicle (often from the ground under the center of a wheel to the edge of the wheel arch is as good as any)in the following three positions:
- min height (service position)
- normal height
- max height
The "normal" height should be mid way between the two extremes (all measured with the engine running).
This method isn't as exact as Citroëns recommendation, but I have found it to correct within a few mm. and will definately show you if something is wrong.
