Xantia Heater Blower Not Working

My Xantia's heater blower has stopped working, sometimes I can get the fan to start working if I play around with the ignition key. But this can cause some really strange side effects such as the fans sticking in full even if switched to off.
Does any one know if it is possible to replace just the electrical contacts of the ignition switch as I belive this is were the fault is.

Replace the whole switch, electrical part of it that is, not the lock.
Get one from a scrapper for next to nothing, or a pretty penny from you know where.
