Late model Volcane

I've seen a very late model Volcane TD for sale. It's a 98 R plate 3 door.
I didn't think any were made that late one. I could go and look at it, check the V% etc, but it's a fir trek and I don't want to waster my time. Any tips on how I check whether it's genuine or not before I travel.

Ask them to send you some photographs of the car and documentation..

I've spoken to them, I suspect it's an SX with a volcane badge stuck on. Anyway it's got 136K on the clock when I said this was too high for me the muppet salesman started telling me about a really great Vectra TDi he had 'coming in'. Click....brrrrrrr.
