Sorry off topic, but whilst on the subject of "automotive liquid colours", I was disappointed recently when trying to buy some to find that "Super Blue" brake fluid is no longer available.

I wanted to get some for a complete change and thought the very obvious transition to blue stuff emitted from the bleed nipples would be just the ticket.

However the Americans have decided it's be used as coolant so legislated that brake fluid has to be "colorless" / light straw coloured. So the product is discontinued! Countless sellers are marketing Type 200, it's replacement, as Super Blue, then explain in the description "p.s. it's not actually blue" very annoying!

Could be, perhaps also VW's Blue motion.

Perhaps Germans associate environmentally friendly with blue, as we seem to with green - and it's just a suitable portmanteau word from additive (ad) + "environmentally friendly" (blue)

Question - re impact gun, battery or mains, I have a 25% off coupon this weekend, and possibly have a choice, seen 240v not 20v, but I feel lucky and have choice of three lidls to check.?

Battery every time for me, I have an old 3/8" drive one and my new toy the 1/2" drive. Both are excellent for their intended purposes. I wouldn't want mains floating about when crawling under the car!!

I have finally thrown out my Lidls axle stands (well not binned them, just use them for supporting exhausts etc).....I never really trusted putting my life at risk under them (for £17 !).... I hated every minute TBH......and the two main helpers I have had visit (4x4-James & Jim) mostly refused (and I do not blame them !)

Lidl axle stands are HORRIBLE ! PLEASE DO NOT BUY THEM

Got a set of 4 heavy duty ones from Halfords in a sale.....now I do not worry.

I've no direct experience but have read lots of negative against the fold up type of axle stands, so I'm in no rush to try a set.

Interesting, Lidl's offers includes the same impact driver (previously discussed at £1000 / £950 discounted price) at a much more sensible £69.99


GSF had some bulb kits at £4.21 and another with poor description at £1.44 I'll put a link up shortly. (I bought one of each - contents seems to be identical!)
