Crash Data Location Other than Airbag Module?

Post by Billsy »

Hi All

Can anyone confirm if my 2021 208 is likely to be storing crash data somewhere other than the airbag module? I have done some front end repairs following an accident. The airbag module has been professionally reset which has eliminated the airbag warning light. However I still have a warning light and message "monitoring radar fault: distance control functions deactivated" The car doesn't have a radar sensor, it just has the camera in the windscreen behind the rear view mirror. The windscreen has been replaced so maybe Distance Control functions need calibrating/initialising?

The following site suggests it is crash data that can be reset.

Yes if replacing the windscreen it will need recalibrating at a specialist place that can do ADAS systems or your dealer.

Your vehicle has distance alert for the cruise function, but just the camera and not the ARTIV radar system is fitted.
