Peugeot 208 65reg carplay activation help with lexia needed

so i upgraded firmware to 6.4.a.r10 and now have apple carlplay button, pressing it and getting error of functiob not available contact peugeot to acquire. i prepared to buy token for diagbox and try to enable it, same time calibrate smeg as there are aditional video recorder button which does nothing. any help activating carplay and calibrating? my car comes with camera for emergency braking, maybe i can enable video recorder to work as well?

No you can't, there is no such device! Models with the connected cam were essentially a dash cam - but the front cameras for ADAS safety do NOT record video. You can't activate functions that do not exist without the hardware.

As for CarPlay activation it depends if the SMEG version you have supports it - earlier SMEG models do not.

I asked about video recording option, because my bmw has this option for which i needed to pay monthly, or one off payment to activate. Anyway main thing is to hide inactive buttons, and apple carplay

Yes, a completely different vehicle and system like apples and pears. BMW and some other manufacturers have pay per use options - that is not (currently) the way PSA operates.

Great news, managed to enable carplay, after bought token from psa and installing diagbox. Was wondering that my cable might be blacklisted, but apparenty not. After connecting and playing with functions buttons on screen has gone, and now put in order, however they do nothing. At least carplay works happy days.

Good, sometimes telecoding with a token requires the official Diagbox software downloaded from PSA, and depends on your clone as sometimes it can throw up errors.
