Infotainment system dropped calls no call volume

I own a Citroen Dispatch 2017 and over the past year I’ve not been able to make or receive calls. Everything else works fine. I was running Android Auto and figured this was the source of the problem. However I’ve now changed to Apple Car Play and calls go through but there is no volume.
Having tried everything I now assume the problem exists with the infotainment system. The problem started suddenly and all calls whether made or received dropped out instantly.

Does anyone have any advice or information on whether the system needs rebooting updating or replacing and if so how I may go about getting it fixed?

It all depends on what system you have fitted and whether it's a FIAT system of a PSA system.

Since posting I have tried to update the firmware on a download from Citroen and it still doesn’t work. I’ve also got a new phone with latest iOS and that does not work either. Same problem.

Anyway my VIN is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]

Ok, so you have the Digital Connected Navigation system.

The latest firmware for this model for your system is: 21.08.87.32_NAC-r1
The latest Map Update version is: 25.0.0-r0

According to my info you need an update. Make sure you have a 32 Gb USB drive and make sure you format it again to FAT32. There mustn't be anything on the USB drive. Are you using the Citroen update App? This is the best way as it formats and prepares the USB directly with the correct files.

I already ran an update but perhaps it didn’t work. I have the app on my iPhone but need to wipe the USB again and reinstall using my MacBook. Not sure how or where to find the update to download on my computer.

Just by way of an update. I did indeed download 21.08.87.32_NAC-r1
and the latest Map 25.0.0-r0

I found it in Citroen Update Centre. No app available for download on Mac. I’ll try again.

There is an update app for the PC (but this won't work on a MAC as a MAC puts additional files on the media not compatible with the Head unit, so it won't work.
