I think he wrote it Ryan!! :-D Declared at the beginning of our stroll round, I only remember him stopping at the gold Merc coupe, the red beetle and a white gulf. We didn't go near a pooch at all!! :-D

He and I view those brands with roughly the same amount of distaste! I think we both find them to be classic examples of function without finesse but in different ways. All the examples I have driven have proved to be hard rides with uncomfortably harsh seats. Too many unnecessarily complicated options to play with and just the non functioning indicators just about finishing us off!! :-D

:rofl2: they function, it's the non functioning driver that's the issue

Well I won't tar everyone with the same brush BUT I agree. I think it's a growing up thing. Boy racer then I'm at work to much just buy one of those brands to make me look/feel good. Then maturity kicks in....and stupidity of you having kids and think, yeah, I'll buy a Citroen like an adult, lovely comfort etc and then you realise it's a major pain in the ass, the naughty spot is in the garage but you go back and see it's learnt it's lesson....for a week! Then back to naughty spot...I'm not middle aged yet so can't comment on the mid life crisis.

Just booked my place :D Loved it last year and it'll be great to return a second time...

And if we could get a good FCF contingent there then that really would be the icing on the cake :)

I'd love to make this in the S1 with renewed paint on bonnet, roof and tailgate and dent-free wings. I wouldn't be embarrassed to show it then!

If I come in the HDi, I'll park in the next village and walk...
