hey, everyone, my factory radio come with the wired carplay, it works well and it is the feature that I uses most frequently. But some of my friends all have the wireless carplay by installing aftermarket radios.
Is there another way to turn my wired carplay into wireless carplay without replacing it? Thanks a lot for your suggestions.

Re: Is there a way to turn my wired carplay into wireless carplay?
You’ll need a wireless adapter for that, like a cplay2air adaptor, as there are only a few cars that support wireless carplay at present. The car has to have wireless support built in. But using an adapter like this one below it will plug into the USB and do a similar job.

However, you'll lose the USB port of course to the wireless adaptor and also you need to consider that your iPhone will not be charging - so using a prolonged wifi connection without charging the phone will rapidly drain battery - unless you have wireless charging in the car of course or a second USB port - but that really defeats the purpose of having a wireless connection.
