I'll plump for the Seltmann (Seltmann Weiden K Bavaria W. Germany) make from W.Germany, here is a picture of their mark and a coffee pot in a different pattern but same shape:
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Re: Pickled Egg Quiz
In my attempts to identify the pattern of Steve's set I have crawled all over the web from Seltmann specialists to ebay (26 pages of 50 items a page) and I have not found the set anywhere. So Steve all I can offer as supplemtary information is that you can buy a red set from ebay:

Re: Pickled Egg Quiz
That looks very much like a well done Mick. Steve hopefully will add the confirmation. Cant find any images of Steve's set either, but I think the question has been answered. The only images of that set will be on the FCF!mickthemaverick wrote: ↑10 Jul 2020, 19:55 I'll plump for the Seltmann (Seltmann Weiden K Bavaria W. Re: Pickled Egg Quiz
Looks spot on Mick.
Still a bit difficult to read but seems to be the same.
I never expected it would be found. I bought the set in a cheap, Aldi-like supermarket (City Stormarknad) in Sweden, 52 years ago and it cost, then, £2.50. I was delighted with it at that price.
Unfortunately incomplete now and not used for years.

Re: Pickled Egg Quiz
I logged in to eBay and I was on the American site. Switched to the UK site and they have a remarkable collection of tasteless shłte.
At the time I bought that I worked for a mail order catalogue and there was a couple of pages that were known as the buskiss pages - tasteless cheap tat. It was something of a joke and that stuff would have done well there.
Despite hundreds of pages of decent and pricey stuff, the buskiss page outsold them all.
Until they started selling Dylon dyes and plain white t-shirts. I buggered around in the cellar where there were washing machines and tie-dyed hundreds of t-shirts (unofficially) and they sold scads of them. I don't think the washing machines ever got over it.

Re: Pickled Egg Quiz
Just learned something new. I will share it with you (well, part of it, anyway. Let us see you can answer this).
On the whole of the British Railway network all of the bridges are numbered, save one. Which is this bridge, and what is it officially (in railway parlance) known as?

Re: Pickled Egg Quiz
Thanks James I was just about to press send on this post but you have telepathically answered the call!
Are we ready to start a bit of Quizzing again after the trauma of Steve's Coffee Set?
Anyone got a little puzzle for us to work out

Well a top of the head answer is worth two researched ones so lets see.....
I am assuming that the Bridge which isnt numbered is indeed a bridge and not a "Station Name".
So When would all the other bridges be numbered.....presumably on nationalisation of the railways.
No idea what numbering system they used but they may all have radiated from a central point in London which maynot have been numbered itself.
So My TOH guess is Charing Cross Bridge, Known in Railway Parlance by railway astrophysicists as "The Singularity"
