What you really need is a drive of a V6 Activa Stu ;)

I'm sure that can be arranged at a rally some time in 2016....

Either a fool, or a person with an addictive personality and not enough cash (and apparently you can never have enough cash where a V6 Activa is concerned!), as you will then forever be keeping it in tip-top condition, for those summer days when you can startle the wide boys in their tuned up fast hatchs!

These are still available folks.

Private message me, as I rarely get a chance to be online unfortunately.

Failing that, I'm sure my website is listed somewhere, email ne through that.

Thanks

I bought one of these kits a couple of years back and am well pleased. Without it our Xantia was facing an imminent MOT failure. But there's one small issue with it neither I or our friendly local indy Citroen garage have been able to get to the bottom of, and that is on full lock (either direction) we get crazy power steering vibration...literally feels like someone's fitted ABS to the steering!

It's something we've learnt to live with, and doesn't really cause any problem, but has anyone else had this issue, and have any idea what's causing it?
Cheers,
Dave

Dave, it will be because the replacement pipe lacks sufficient pulse damping - something the rubber bit in the original did very effectively...

Ahh...ok! Thanks, Jim. As I say, it's certainly not a major issue, and certainly a small price to pay to avoid having to write the car off! In fact we only ever notice it when doing a 3 point turn in a narrow place, or trying to get into one of Morrison's undersized car parking spaces...(as one does...)
Cheers,
Dave
