Never seen the IBM one but one of my sons had either a Dell or Lenovo with one and it seemed OK.

Yuck, not keen on those myself.

Just for the record, I'm just accessing via iPod at the moment in Safari browser, things look a bit weird as far as fitting in the screen, I have to scroll left and right to see the whole page & when I clicked notifications on the right, the drop down box appeared on the left so I had to scroll back again to read it... Not sure how to clear the cache on this but will try that when I work it out :)

Looks awful on opera desktop on my phone.
The user pane isn't showing on the left of a post, it's showing as a full width pane above the message.

Clearing cache/history on iPad (Safari) did the trick ok, in getting rid of the spurious drop-down menus.
Doing the same on a PC (Win7, Chrome) didn't, even after a restart. However, Ctrl+F5 sorted it, so now looking good.
Thanks for all the hard work, Mike.

I can reproduce this behaviour, also with Firefox and Chrome browsers on Android, but only when they are configured to request the desktop site.

It appears that this is the current behaviour of phpBB 3.2.0, I will look for a workaround, but in the meanwhile, it is easier to use the mobile agent mode.

Ta - Mobile mode is a pain, because it doesn't have all the features (no pm button, none of the user profile info shown etc.) and it means swapping mode back forth every time I want to swap tabs to another site (generally I hate mobile versions of websites, much prefer desktop views/features, so use that on everything else).

It sounds like the browser cache again. I did test on an iphone 4, and the format seemed OK.
If you are sure that you have cleared the cache, give more details of the ipod model.

Must just be me that wishes you'd left well alone; just too much effort for no discernable benefit.

Oh well, just have to see how it works out - but can't say I'm wildly optimistic.

At least that post worked AND, I see, I've got my avatar back!

A lot of the changes happen behind the scenes for reasons already discussed, but I'm sure we are doing everything we can to help where possible.

Just discovered the function of the middle button!

Apart from the wheel I've always ignored it until now...

It does cut and paste in Linux too Jim, if in a somewhat unpredictable fashion.
There is a logic to it but it isn't immediately obvious.

I'm seeing problems with the forum since the upgrade on Chrome on Windows 7.

Basically all the "pop overs" for the entire page are activating at once on page load every time I go to a page, for example, the jump to pop over in the bottom right, the subscribe one in the bottom left, the user control panel one in the top right etc.

On some pages I have as many as three pop overs stacked on top of each other and while I can click them to dismiss them when I click into a text entry box they reappear, and if I try to reply to a post in thread instead of in the full editor one of the popovers stubbornly remains in front of part of my edit window! #-o

Anyone else seeing this really annoying behaviour ?

I would also add that text size and formatting looks a bit weird with text almost spilling out of buttons, excessive line spacing between rows etc. :?
