Something I'd love to do Kenny, I still want to ride up Mont Ventoux but sadly, I can't travel overseas so that's a dream that will never be realised...

This year I may try to ride a stage or two of the 2016 Tour of Britain instead...

Never say never! I've seen so many people conquer the impossible so many times, it's just not feasible currently.

Could you drive there Jim? - via the tunnel, not an amphibious Xantia.

Maybe but it's a long way and I'd need to stage it with a number of overnight stops...

Train might be better but the French, trains and bikes don't mix too well...

All in all an awful lot of buggeration factor I can well do without...

Don't worry about that nonsense yet, if you should ever wish to tread abroad we'll take a motorhome and you can sleep all the way. You're welcome to be awake as well if you like.

If you're not fancying abroad in the next couple of years maybe we just do somewhere in the UK instead. I love motorhomes and camping, new motorhome is on the wish list but it's in the realms of your Aga at the moment.

The North Coast 500 will be my lot for this year James as I have a lot of runs and local bike sportives already entered...

Also, going away with the kids at some point for a few days to do a special job - dad's last wish...

2018 would be good ;)

Same for me Jim, Scotland will be this years break as long as work permits. Motorhome tour next year sounds promising. I also have in mind that French trip I mentioned to you when we picked up my V6, I haven't investigated it yet but will do in not very long.

You'll come back as the new and improved 'Glow in the Dark James'

Seriously, that's a brilliant trip and one I'd love to do...

Right, lets plan for 2018 ;)
