I don't think I shall manage the long trek again. I was in bits for days after the northern, and it would mean more time off work, which I want to save up for a holiday abroad later in the year.

Right, mot been on the forum since Feb  cause just so damn busy with stuff (work/personal/Honda related) but fortunately have work up in time to see this.
I intend to try and pop in on the Saturday (gf is doing a 10k run in London on the Sunday so that's out).
My basic workhorse C5 will be as French as I can get ATM (Xantia not back on the road yet) but at least I can turn up an look at everyone else's more interesting Citroen's :D and hopefully meet a few of you guys.

When I finish work tonight, I am not working again for 10 days. Could I manage a long trip again? I have promised to visit my folks in county Durham this summer. I have a sniff of a road trip coming on[emoji593] [emoji4]

That's a good question. I'm waiting for the indicator switch for the XM, it's just been posted. I'm just getting used to the C4 again after having it repaired.
It would be nice to see you Davie if you make it south, but no pressure intended!

I know, I'm only joking. I shall phone my aunt tomorrow and see if I can get a coup,e of nights with them on Sunday and Monday, and see how cheap I can get a b&b in the vicinity of the rally for Friday and Saturday. If it all comes together I can see me going for it.

Due to the prevailing dad situation I'll be unable to attend this one sadly :(
