I generally use Firefox and hyperlinks show in grey but are underlined. I sometimes enhance them with bold and blue.
Just looked in Chromium and Arora and they are the same there.

This is how it is displayed to me (I'm a web developer, but I don't have any extensions that mess up the standard visual layout of web sites) ...

Image

The exact same look is in my standard IE 11, no color, no underline

Post hyperlinks automatically get the css class "postlink-local", maybe to add it to the css definition and give it a default look? ... :) .. or, a more general approach might be div.postbody a {} ... for those who understand this ... :D

Leave it with us for a few days. I need to do some testing and discuss with the other admins.

This only seems to affect 'internal' links. URLs are a lighter colour and underlined if they are tagged (using BB Code) as urls, e.g. http://www.frenchcarforum.co.uk/forum/index.php or index.

I am not sure why raw internal urls are not underlined, I suspect that is a bug in the we_universal style software. I will try to find out.

Because they have different CSS classes ... the links in your post are visible to me (grey and underlined), but they're wrapped in a "postlink" class, while the internal links have the "postlink-local" class (which isn't defined) ... I think the best solution would be to add to the a.postlink (styles/we_universal/theme/content.css, line 784) the second class of a.postlink-local

Does that look better?

I added the line:

Code: Select all

text-decoration: underline;
after line 49 of styles/we_universal/theme/common.css

The internal links now have underlines, but so do any other links on the forum (i.e. post titles, usernames, post counts, etc ...), so I don't know if this change has a positive effect

I don't mind the links all being underlined, I will wait for more feedback.

The 'location' field is set to six chars minimum input. I had to 'expand' mine to get it to save as there's only five characters in it.

Unless its a hint to move towns... ;)

Its OK I just added a full-stop to pad it out to six chars, no harm no problem either way. 8-)
