Deletion of Inactive User Accounts

Post by CitroJim »

From now on, in order to maintain a clean user database on this forum, all accounts that are registered and activated but remain unused (i.e. not logged on to) will be deleted after a period of three months.

Similarly, where accounts have lain dormant with no posts and no logon for a period of six months will be similarly deleted.

We will never delete an account, even if dormant, if the account has posts against it unless we have determined it to be a spammer.

Accounts with no posts and recent activity will not be deleted. We know there are a number of members amongst us who log on regularly but don't post. We have no issue with this but do wish they'd just post and say hello!

If looking after this forum was a full-time job with a healthy stipend then yes Malcolm, we would...

Sadly it is unlikely there would be enough hours in the day to do it... We have cars, families and paid work to attend to first... They take up ana awful lot of time you know

Darn, I was hoping to ask for the user name PaulR (without the hyphen).
As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

EU regulations have banned dinks, even little ones, unless they're had all their vaccinations up to date.
