Was there a club stand this year? I wouldn't mind going to it next year

No Club (CCC) stand there.

..It is beneath them to mix with owners of Citroen's they do not think are true Citroen's.
.....The fact that this is exactly where they need to be to encourage younger members is also beyond the Clubs comprehension.
.......The fact that the quality and complexity of the work carried out on a lot of these cars would put a lot of the "old guard" to shame and is dismissed as "modified boy racer" is telling.

rant over....

Modified by "boy racers" or concourse by "the old guard" or anywhere between there is one thing standing out for me and that's a love of cars.

I went to FCS 2005 in my 205GTi and quite enjoyed it... Something different. It can be good to see the other side occasionally for a bit of balance and some of the chavved-up cars were rather well done... Not my taste at all but interesting none the less.

We went in 2006, hats off to all the work that's gone into the cars but it was rows of saxos and 206s with big speakers and even bigger rims! We had a BX stand there but were mostly ignored sadly.

I saw the BX stand in 2005 Tim. Full of Valvers then and first time I'd seen one in the metal...

When I said I was a 205 GTi Owner I was suddenly made to feel very unwelcome due, no doubt to due to the still frequent killing of Valvers for their Mi16 engines for 205 projects....
