No ... I had to repair the outer air outlet, the wheel thing detached itself (the inner ball joint), so it wouldn't operate the flaps anymore ... a fairly simple procedure:

... but you first need to:

- remove the airbag
- remove the wheel plastic cover
- remove the wheel buttons
- remove the steering wheel
- remove the instrument panel

20 minutes, once you get a hang of it ... needed to to it twice, first to repair the air outlet, and once I've returned it in place, car check, figured out that the RPM meter is beginning not at 0 but at 5 ... s**t, back again, to put it in place ... so, another hour of screwing/unscrewing around ... but, all in all, a job well done ... :D

I honestly don't have any useful idea ... it wasn't excess force, I'm positive on that ... I just tried to open the flaps after closing them, and felt no resistance, and the wheel was free (it still had the min/max movement), but the flaps stayed in place ... also, one other thing, which I noticed by accident, but seems right on time ... the rear windshield fluid nozzle, the plastic tube that goes from the upper right corner to the tailgate, broke, in 2 places (one full broken and the other half), so I've decided to properly fix it, and put he rubber tube in between ... works quite well ... don't know why they decided to use the plastic for this, so I'd recommend to all Tourer owners to check theirs, if you notice any leakage inside the tailgate/boot after using the rear washer, that's the probable cause.

Citroen sell that section of pipe as separate item, not expensive and easy it fit, just clips in.

I know, checked in the Service Doc, but once again, it's plastic ... this should be a better long-term solution

You need the matching screen and lvd cable and rear connector if upgrading iirc unless it's to replace a faulty unit :(

What is this new system's model on 2016 cars? There´s no HU, just touch screen.

It's the same as fitted to the later ds series cars I believe where the actual unit hides behind the cubby hole that's introduced with the last run out vehicles.

That's a SMEG+ unit, like the newest Peugeots/Citroens have, it is fairly new on the C5 (I've yet to see one in real life).

The close up looks like this:

That's the actual head unit, although it looks weird ... what's stupd IMO is the menu & volume buttons location (if you're wondering where the ESP, Parking sensors and AFIL went, they're now operated within the nav device)
