If you needed any further incentive to get those polishing cloths out - here it is! I picked up the X-rally assorted gongery a couple of days ago; trophies for best CX, XM, BX and Xantia plus medals for 2nd and 3rd. All the prize-winners will receive a medal and a certificate, but we want the silverware back for next year. There's a ( soon to be legendary) X-rally 'Best of Show' shield for the best example of drop-dead automotive shininess that in the opinion of the judges is the car most worthy of nicking. :)

There's an added mystery prize for 'Shed of the Show', so probably best to leave the polish on the shelf if you fancy your chances at that. Although if shed of the show is on your shopping list, you probably don't actually own any polish. Bon chance! :)

Even though I'm only 12 miles away, Sod's Law has dictated that I miss this each time but I'm hoping to make it along this year, though in a C, not an X.

In fact I just posted a message on the for sale forum, so if you're looking for an Activa, this would be a good time to view it.

I will be there. Not as early as I usually am as I have a Karate lesson at 9:30... Should be there just before lunch..

I'm planning to come along in the Activa. You can all say 'oh gosh!' at the extensive lacquer peel it's suffering. No worries, it's going in next month to have it sorted...

I'm really sorry not to be able to make it to this, having had a great time at the September rally last year. Being drive it day I always organise a Citroens run up here in Scotland, so can't really miss that.
Glad it's happening at least and look forward to reading about it, sure it will be good. I'm still hoping to get to the CCC national.
Incidentally, anyone else from up North who can't make it is very welcome on the drive it day run.

The Bx still has the dash out so I was going to use the Blingo. Got a flat tyre so got to get that sorted now. Hopefully I can get to Wetherby. Hope everyone has a great time.

A most eXcellent X Rally this year and a big well done to the organisers who stepped and rescued the rally from potential oblivion this year =D>

Thoroughly enjoyed. It was wonderful to see friends old and new and look at some lovely cars...

And the rain threatened but had the decency to hold right off. I even caught a bit of sun!

I went in the Activa and I must say she purred all the way there and all the way back..

Roll on the next rally :)

I wimped out of the X-rally due to the disastrous weather and considering a 400 mile round trip to wallow knee deep in mud didn't strike me as a good idea.

Paul, I totally agree, CXM is a rally I always look forward to, it's such a shame there won't be one this year, the way things are shaping up, I wonder how many others will 'fall by the wayside'

There are plans afoot to have one this year Paul :-D Possibly in the same location as always...

That was a shame Steve. I was looking forward to seeing you :(

In the event the weather was very convivial and rained not at all... Sun shone for some of it too but the rain always threatened to absolutely chuck it down..
