X Rally 27th April 2014

Post by mds141 »

Hi guys. It's just come to my attention that this years X rally isn't being organised by the usual people for some reason.

I know it's slightly short notice, but myself and other CCC members are trying to re-organise an alternative. So here's a list of questions to gauge interest:-
1. Same venue as previous X rally's.
2. Preferable dates.
3. One day, or two.

I'm sure there are other questions will become apparent other time and any opinions are welcome and valued.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Patrick for organising previous successful and enjoyable X Rally's.

Many thanks. Mark and the organising team for the X rally 2014.

Regarding info about the CX, XM and Xantia Section, please find this in the thread linked below:

http://www.frenchcarforum.co.uk/forum/v ... =2&t=47594" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Probably best to keep this thread to discussion of the show, and any discussion re the committee to the thread above...

Cheers,
Franklin.

Re: X Rally 2014 confirmed.

Post by mds141 »

Good news folks. The X Rally 2014 is confirmed for the 27 th of April.

I understand that this is 'drive it day' and this might impact on attendance numbers, but this is the only date free at Burghley House.

It's £5 per car admittance. This goes direct to Burghley House.

If people would like to turn up from 10 am onwards. Please do try to attend and show your support and allegiance.

Paul will be along shortly with his custom designed flyer/poster.

Many thanks. Mark.

Who's going to go this year? I'm thinking of having a trip up with the missus, probably stay somewhere local to the venue on the Saturday night as we get a kid-free weekend that weekend from about 6pm on the Saturday...

If I get my Xantia back on the road, I'll pop along to this.
(I'd love to say I might get one of my CX's up and running and come in that - but that's proper pie in the sky stuff!!! :rofl2: )
