Not boy-racer enough for me Mark - no large spoiler or side graphics from standard!

In all seriousness not sure when I'll be on the look out for a Xantia, still got a few projects on the go including "X" and the XM Prestige too which will keep me busy for a few weeks... :^o

If I did then it'd have to be pretty special car to be considered as a "keeper"...

Oh yes the C4 will be there! I can see it staying for a good while actually.

In fact, the only reason would be to upgrade to the face-lift C4 Loeb with the 150 THP engine if I could find one worth the money.

Apparently only 36 around...

Do we book the camping with wicksteed park direct, or is there anywhere else to book it? It looks like camping is the way I am going now, possibly as part of a longer road trip.

I'd be suprised if you did have to book the camping, Davie, but worth checking.

Tim is the organiser of the National, drop him an email. bxtim AT citroencarclub.org.uk will reach him, or PM him...

Funny you should mention a C4 THP engine'd one, i saw a black one today at Availablecar & a youngish lad took it out for a testdrive the same time i was taking a clubman diesel auto out for a spin as well. Needless to say i was using the kickdown on the dual carriageway & left that loeb behind :)

A Bini Clubman...? :|

The THPs go well with 150BHP, peak torque is amazingly low too at just 1400rpm...

Anyway, back on topic and Peter/Davie - looks like I won't be attending with the C4 I'm afraid. Will be a CX if I can get it back on the road in time. If not, then the C4 will be attending...

That brings back memories of the National at Wood Green in 2009, remember the cake!

EDIT:  I've just found something very special, made me feel all warm, fuzzy and nostalgic! A video of Jim cutting his cake at the 2009 National!

Stop the boat! The C4 will be in attendance - unfortunately the CX needs rather more work than was originally envisaged. It'll be ready for the CX, XM and Xantia Rally but can't get it done in time for the National...

I was thinking of just going on the Sunday - many people thinking of going Saturday as well?

Sharing your birthday with the Xantia's Birthday Rally! More than a coincidence surely...!

Any good cake makers on here?
