Thanks, and you've got some great pictures there too - thanks for posting them up. :)

If you come along to some more meets hopefully you'll be able to put more forum names to faces - name badges have been suggested on the XM forum!

Is there an option to have a pic added?? :-D :-D. I know mine was no show piece but she's already removed from your great pics  .. she was the silver xantia exclusive hatch next to the silver exclusive estate. I had xantia v6 mk. 1 alloys on the front and vsx on the back. ..

A fine selection of xantia but quite surprised at the Lack of. S1 xantia. ..

Thanks, I just snapped away.
Badges would be good, but can we steer away from bonding games please? (ha ha)

I'd like to go to the Simply French Rally at Beaulieu, mainly as I haven't been to Beaulieu since I was a kid! Will others be going there?

I take it you mean my pics? I thought I'd got every car, but maybe not.... Some I missed as there were too many people in front. It's also possible I didn't upload quite all the pictures as my internet died halfway through and I had to add some on later. Let me know some of your reg no. & I'll look at the originals, I'm keen to see if I have one of it now!

Aha! Tracked down...

I don't seem to have a rear view, as I said before, I think there were people in front of it & I meant to come back....then didn't! It all helps me to put a name to a car though!

I have been looking through the pictures for the X Rally & yes, I really liked this Xantia.

To me the wheels really suit the Xantia and still look like they could have been factory fitted.

I take it from Franklin's comment the Xantia usually has 4 studs? Has this car got uprated brakes from another model? Or does it have spacer/adapters fitted?

When I saw the car with the inscription Ceci n'est pas une voiture mais un art de vivre !! on the back, I thought it must belong to Northern_Mike, but I was wrong!

If you liked Darren's Xantia you should see his XM. It is to die for...

Franklin, pop a picture of LAF up for Fake to see

Never noticed Darren's nuts before. I wonder if he has XM hubs on there?

A smart looking car that one Peter, although the alloys did divide opinion.

The owner, Darren, isn't really on the forums much but does own quite a number of Citroens including the very much admired T LAF - Series 2 XM 24v that has been modified...

Image

According to Darren those wheels on the Xantia were originally off of a VW Passat.

I commented that it was running some hefty spacer setup but apparently it's got hub converters on it or something...

Thanks for the replies Jim & Franklin, Darren must have had a difficult decision about choice of "X" (but one many would like!) before coming to the X Rally! I'm not sure which of those I prefer, it's funny as I've never been a fan of blue cars, but they both look just right.
What is Darrens user name? (so I can have a nose at any pics he's put on the forum!)

I don't think that Darren is on here - only seen him on the BXClub and that was just a couple of posts - not really a forum man but not for everyone of course!

Here's one of his CX, though:
