Technical weekend.

Post by mds141 »

A joint collaboration between the XM forum and the BXClub has been proposed for the weekend of the 25/26 th of May. Subject to confirmation from Barry Annels. Any Citroen models welcomed and in particular the hydropneumatic variants. The idea is for people to tinker and work on their cars and to assist with teaching and imparting their knowledge/skills to those still learning. The BXClub held a similar event in Ludlow last year and it was a resounding success, with a good time had by all.

Further details to be announced, once definite confirmation has been received by Barry.

I'll speak to Franklin at the X rally, just to make sure Barry is still ok with this in principle. It should be an excellent weekend Jim. Spread the word. :-)

I will Mark :)

Not seen it on Club-XM yet, unless it's my old needing to go to SpecSavers problem again

Once the X Rally is over and done with then I will be arranging details for this event and post them up.

It's still a little way off yet and I've a lot on at the moment... :)

Bodes to be a good meeting though for the CCC East Midlands Group.

Now that is a BRILLIANT idea. I would like to be there, mainly to learn (possibly to help). With any luck I would have a Lexia system with me.

I spoke to Barry Annels at the X rally and he's still up for this, so I'd thought I'd give it a BUMP!! Barry said he'd try and arrange use of the local rugby pitch.

Funny you should mention this Mark as I've been in talks with Alan about this the last few days - details are hopefully going to be finalised by next week...
