Xantia 2.0HDi Wheeee!

Bought a W plate Xantia 2.0 HDi (90) yesterday.
Trashed my renault Laguna in B and Q's car park (on the trolley park of all things) and managed to twist the B pillar, thus making it a write off. Im now towing with a Xant! Fan bleeding tastic or what!
Only wish i could have got a 110 variant for £3000 like this one cost.[:D]
Very Happy man (and insurance only gone up by £40).

hi,
i got a v reg 110 hdi estate for £3700 and think they fly and when my wife drives it she gets 60mpg looking to chip it soon.

I would highly recommend chipping a HDI 110, see the other threads on this forum.
You can chip the HDI 90 to get 110, several Picasso owners have done that. Supposed to be good too.
I generally get 45mpg from my C5 HDI 110, but have got as high as 52, but the C5 weighs a lot more than the Xantia.

Rest assured insurance already gone up! (by 20%)[xx(]
Drove out of parking spot, forgot trolley park was next to me and swung left..... drove over steel hoop (well below window level)[:I] crunched doors and sill, reversed off ripping rear door skin and ripping into B pillar (all at about 5mph!!!) - nice one Ren! (not).
