New C5 from Portugal

Post by hmvt »

Hi there,

I'm new to this forum so I decided to make my presentation...

I have 29 years old and I'm from Portugal. In past January I bought a 2002 C5 SX.
this is my first Citroen but until now I'm very pleased with it, it has a reasonable performance and it's really confortable.

It has just passed 100.000 kms, so it's almost new...

I came from a Ford Focus in whitch I made a couple modifications, but in the Citroen I haven't been able to find much information to do somethings that I have planned.

Here I show some fotos, hope you like them...

Oh,

By the way, I already bougth this and the red switch, it's one of the most important mods I'm planning:

Problem is I can't find out where do I connect the switch...
but that is in another topic...

the first thing i notice is you have the car parked with the front over a curb/walkway,
the problem here is if/when the suspension goes down you will damage under the front bumper

That's not a problem, the walkway is not very tall...

When the suspension goes down doesn't touch the sidewalk...

Hello and hi from Southern California! I really envy you- you can get a C5.

For your switch connection- the photo isn't entirely clear, I'm guessing that's cruise control? Chances are you'll find a connector nearby taped to the steering column wiring within about 10-15 cm of where that switch should go. There is also a control module you'll need to buy if it is cruise control.

Hi Hotrodelectric,
Yes, That's crusie control stalk, but problem is besides this stalk (which I already know where to mount) there is a little red switch connected to the break pedal, and here might be the problem, it has 2wires and I don't know where they lead...
But I told before that it might be a problem because I saw one of those red switches nearby, and I'm thinking it coulb be it...
I'll have more news for the next days...
