Definitely Thursday and Friday Mark, and perhaps some of Saturday too - not sure as of yet.

Won't be Sunday though, as we've another Event we're going on (non-Citroen!)...

I'm there from Thursday afternoon until Sunday evening, got to work Thursday morning at Lancaster, so may take the scenic route via Dunsop Bridge (the most central village in the UK) then A65/A59.

I'll be there all week, im going down tomorrow to drop off a car and help with some of the setting up. No doubt back on Tuesday for much of the same and I'll be there each day after that too.

Im using the XM estate as my runaround while im there, if you see me  My dad will be with me too. Along with the C15 and 6H Traction. I'll be in my Activa one day and possibly the 2cv at some point. Our C1 will be along one day too.

Interesting that there are 15 more XMs booked in than Xantias, of which there are only 20!

When you go into the main entrance Chris peer over to your left hand side at the camping area - we had a look today just at the entrance bit and some of the camping area was very waterlogged (got some pics). I gather this was the bit Mick was referring too...

...glad I'm not camping though. Any more heavy rain won't do it any favours...

I think most of the site is useable now, however there are areas which sound like they might be a little too wet. They say there is more than enough space so im sure it will work out fine.

Thankfully, im not camping either

I hear they're handing out flippers and snorkels at the main gate...

Seriously, to all who are going to ICCCR, have a really lovely time :-D I wish I was there too but sadly, circumstances do not allow :(

And remember, this rain cannot last forever

Hi everyone,

ooo brown interior...slover...i do so like brown interiors on mk 1 bxs..i think they suit it, i was brought up in a 16 TRS with a brown interior...so i suppose im biased. i hope you/your father is going to bring it along to the ICCCR? I must see it at a rally sometime....(actually looking at your photos its look a different shade of gold to the auction photos id already seen..hmm..doesnt look as 'rich'/dark as the auction photos that made it look like ford escort golds of the 80s...funny story there...but never mind)

talking of which...im rather tired so il be quick. Got back a few hours ago after volunteering at the icccr. And photobuckets taking ages....

Heres a view of the show ground from the train*....

nb no floods

There was a short shower..i snapped this pic of this lovely activa...and xm..and also a c4 picasso and facelift c3..

then great weather:

Best cx pick up conversion ive yet seen...mind its only the second ive seen!

Fields surprisingly good really just a few iffy camping sport but you can work around it really...a few more days weather like today and it'll all be fine.

No jim no flippers- dont know why youd needs those? Theres no swimming pool you know? though it must be one of the few things not included in the entrance fee  ....

Had a walk round before i left and already its got that wonderful atmosphere you only get at internationals...it doesnt matter what you drive, where you're from, what language you speak or any sort of belief. You l love citroens and you all communicate..ish... :-D

what one more..oh ok have an italian reg chapron ds (3 days drive from italy) :

see you all there
Phil
*Yes before you all ask the green car nearest the front is indeed a ds..or maybe an id...who can tell at this distance
Apologies for photo size..not sure if theres a rule regarding size on here (please no snigger at the back of the room  ) but photobucket seem to have moved/deleted the resize button...im too tired to figure it out...many apologies...still got work to do..
