My Activas door badges are looking a bit old, they are starting to delaminate on the backs, they look a bit like a bad chrome door strip. One is worse than the other.
Im not sure if they are still available new, however having bought a black 136mm for the boot from ebay and it being of original quality, im looking at getting the smaller badges from there too.
My question is, were any Activas fitted with black door badges with silver writing or were they all silver backed?
I think the black would look better and stand out more, especially on my silver car. However im all about cars being original and so don't want them to look out of place.
Ive got the stainless steel door trims to fit, which ill be doing very soon, so I want the badges equally as tidy.
So, silver or black for the doors?

Re: Activa door badges
I've never seen an Activa with black side badges as original although they
have been retrofitted by these latest replica copies. I'd say stay with the
silver look as the black will be way too much visually on your all silver car
and the stock look is more subtle too - why shout out about it in black!!

May be worth trying when you're buying a new indicator stalk at the dealers?

Recently I purchased a pair of genuine Citroën Activa badges for the side mouldings of my car, still available as a new part from Citroën UK.
This part is still listed today on the Citroën parts website (http://service.Citro" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;ën.com) with number 8663 Z9 and shows a retail price of £6.60 +VAT.
The original badge that was attached to the rear of the car had part number CIT7381.

Re: Activa door badges
I have my old activa badges, they dont have any sticky stuff left on them but they are in good nick if you would like them (and have something to stick them on with)?
