Forum database restore - Posts/PMs from 22/6 have been lost

Post by Xaccers »

About 2 and a half long hours ago I noticed the forum was down due to database errors.
The main database had become corrupt and required a restore from backup.
Consequently all posts, including PMs made from 2am on the 22nd June have been lost.
Sorry about that.

Bugger. I'd just posted a clear and understandable explanation for the meaning of life.

Oh well; humanity's loss.

Sadly sh!t happens - yesterday doesn't exist on here now but at least everything before then does.
Wouldn't be the only time a forum totally disappears and loses itself permanently mind!!

So let me see. Quick recap? Paul was about to sell his Xant v6 to Luke if it can make a ferry crossing on it's own,
where Luke has decided to break the red Laguna V6 and the seats and switches were already spoken for. I believe
Vince mentioned Xm's (again! ;)) and Jim liked the Linux parody image - can see why now! In the mix I've lost a
few pm's sent and received too - bugger. :(

Who the Hell is Sara Watson?

I thought you were going to mention that CitroJim announced he'd won the Euro lottery 90 Billion and is going
to celebrate buying half the countryside in West Wales (think it's Ceredigion) to create a unique Citroen theme
park where non club member drivers aren't allowed on the roads?

Glad to see everything is up and running so quickly, I didn't even notice
Just as well I've been a bit quiet on here the last couple of days!

Saying that though, in answer to addo's question which looks to have been lost. Each to their own, but what would you do with the body?
