DSM 2012 - 8-10th June

Post by Citroenmad »

There was mention of the DSM not happening due to a lack of volunteers, does anyone know if the cancellation has been confirmed or is the rally still planned?

Its only three weeks time, so I'm planning my trip.

Assuming it is taking place, who is going?

I was wondering this too - I shall drop the D Section an email...

I'd be surprised that it didn't go ahead TBH.

Brilliant Franklin, I'll keep on with the plans in that case

So, who is going?

We had a decent turnout of Xantias and XMs last year, how about a repeat? 8-)

Might pop along to this one in the C4 Loeb (that's if I don't get asked to park outside?)...perhaps a convoy with Jason in his V6?

Excellent news it's going ahead...

Don't know if I'll be able to make it though, it's a heck of a long journey for me...

Reminds me. I must go to the 'Shoulder of Mutton' and sample their cuisine to check it's up to rally spec... It's an onerous task but someone has to do it...

Excellent Jim - I think it'll be the answer to our prayers if they can sort the evening meal and breakfasts for the CX, XM and Xantia Rally...

Means Robert can have even more to drink and more pickled eggs can be consumed on Friday and Saturday evening...

Dad and I are hoping to make this one in the 5,800 Miles BX GT for it's first outing...

When mentioned to Jason he sounded up for it too in Roger's old Xantia V6...

If we have a convoy with Jason coming I might come in the C4 Loeb to make a three car convoy from the Fens - if the weathers like this I want Air Con too!! :-D

I'm looking forward to this. In fact, the whole half term is going to be pretty epic!
I'll be in the XM, it's first long run of the year.
