Its a shame you can not make it Jim, its a good little event this.

We plan on bringing two cars each day, as its only 70 miles from me. So I'm thinking it'll be the XM & Activa on Saturday and the 2cv & Traction on the Sunday ... if the weather is good to us

I know and it's a shame as I really enjoy the Northern Rally but I really think Wetherby and back on Saturday and then Aberystwyth and back on Sunday is pushing it a bit - not the cars but me....

Ah, it might well have some competition ...

I might bring what used to be an Xm Prestige, its now a pretty poor sight and a bit ill in places. Im in two minds to bring it or not for two reasons. Firstly im not sure if it will make the round trip and secondly I need to find it a new home (my reason for bringing it) as its owner recently passed away, but im tempted to buy it myself, im not sure who else will want it! It needs an awful lot of work though and the body is very tatty but has no rust, if it were not an XM id be considering recommending it for scrap. It needs a good cleaning and hoovering, so ill be there around lunch time I hope.

My dad will be there in the Xm estate tomorrow and if you see a worn looking black XM then I decided to bring it  If not ill be in my Activa.

Today has been a good day, got there about 12.30 ish and went over to have another tour around the ICCCR venue with in depth detail. Very informative it was and its promising to be a very good event.

The turn out wasn't great but it never is on Saturday, tomorrow will no doubt be better and the weather looks as if it should be just as nice too.

My dad took the XM estate and I took a black XM Prestige, which went better than expected!

Tomorrow we will run down in the Traction as ive left the Prestige at the racecourse for tonight.

Well to be honest Chris it's completely toned down from what it was when you saw it at the National Rally and it got the Shed of Show Prize! I took all of the "extras" off of it that I put on for the Show and so is back to it's old self - still sports some of it's uniqueness though... Still, nowhere near as crazy as it was with all the sound sensitive neons etc etc on it...

Can't beat an XM Prestige (although I am probably biased...) Keep it...

I did notice the Special was toned down, shame!

I think I will have the Prestige, its rough but with time and effort it could be reasonable again.

Ill make sure I take some pictures tomorrow Franklin :-D

No, its an auto paul and im starting to like the idea of an auto XM, it suit the car nicely.

Today was another great day, a very good turnout and fantastic weather. So really nice cars in attendance and I really enjoyed the drive in a few XMs 8-) Matthews gold V6 12 manual is just superb.

My dads traction was voted best car of the show, second year running, which was very nice to see. All in, a great weekend.
