Hello All,
I'm looking at buying a C5 (2009 ish , I believe thats a Mk3?) 2.0 HDi +NAV the 140 version, so nows your chance to put me off before I go ahead!
Currently in an '03 vectra @ 130K miles which is feeling a bit tired and this time I want something a bit different!
I've had it 6 years and have put 80K on it myself and intend to do the same with the C5.
Looking around the site, you all seem like a freindly helpfull bunch so I'm looking forward to saying hello and not getting in the 'problems' section!
Gav

I missed this, welcome to the FCF
Congratulations on your C5 purchase, im sure it will serve you well
There are a few threads on here about problems with the C5III but probably best you dont look at them now you have taken the plunge No, really they seem reliable and the engines are well proven. I quite fancy a C5III myself.
Is it a manual or an auto? Just wondering what suspension it has.

Re: Hello from Leeds!
Hello Chris, its a 6 speed manual with steel bits. I think the hydro is an option but is standard on the exclusive.
Its a lovely car, I dont know if Im still getting used to it but it does seem to float around more than the vectra. That said its easier to manouvre!
