hi all just discovered this site

Tell us a little about yourself, lie if you have to but keep it to just an introduction, not a car discussion.

hi all just discovered this site

Post by BigJockD »

Now on my 4th Citroen and the guy i bought it from asked if i was a member here
well now i am.

Upgraded from Ford Sierras to my first Xantia 1.9TD
Then bought a 3.0 exclusive which i still have.
Bought another slightly older 3.0 exclusive when the 1.9 gave up the ghost.
Got myself a C5 dual fuel a few weeks ago.
Best regards
John

Welcome John :D

So that's two Xantia V6s you have then, excellent. Is the older one a Series 1?

Hope you enjoy the forum, we're a friendly old bunch on here....

Shame to see it scrapped John and if nothing else, there's a lot of useful parts that could be rescued off of it..

I'd have been tempted myself but I've just acquired a V6 XM from Scotland....

I'll be surprised if someone doesn't take it off your hands though...

I would be interested in a few parts from a Mk1 V6, but not the whole car. So if you can find some way that parts would be available, directly or from a scrapyard, that would be good.
But first of all, try advertising it with pictures in the for sale section of this site, someone may want it at the right price.
