No probs Chris - it's a good place the ol' Hippodrome.

Me too. Taking Friday off to do that and just spotted the Activa has a slight exhaust blow at the cat joint...

Looking very forward to this weekend

Is going to be great. Be good to meet some new faces as well as see old ones again.

I won't have time to sort mine though so it'll look battered and sound fruity but at least I'll be there.

It will indeed.

Same here, there is still so much I want to do with mine, nevertheless there should be a very nice lineup. If we do get the 10 plus Activas, it will almost certainly be the biggest Activa gathering in the UK for quite some years I suspect.

Hmm...how to explain it :-k
Well it was all at the CXM last year, and we took our Talbot Camper with a very nice awning and CX Prestige seats to sit on. Then add in an Irishman and Scotsman (no, it's not a beginning of a joke!) with us Englishmen and things got quite merry!

Robert brought the picked eggs (chip shop style I think) along and as people were eating them (or having them thrown at them...!) it became increasing difficult toget them out of the jar. And then comes along Steve (Trainman) and he goes and gets one out in record time (he must have been practising!)

It was a great time and I'm really looking forward to the next CXM! :D From memory, when the "pickled-eggness" was in full swing there was Robert, Colin, Phil, Steve, Dom, Baloo, Roger, Dieselman (Will?) and Mrs Dieselman, Rob, dad and I. I think that was everyone, but I'm sure Robert'll fill in any gaps - if he wasn't too drunk on pickled eggs!

So if you're up for pickled eggs come to the CXM this year as Robert plans to bring pub style AND chip shop style for comparison purposes at the CXM this year.

Robert and his pickled Eggs will always be remembered. They have become legendary. I'll bet we'll still be talking of it in 20 years time..

Hi all!

Really looking forward to this event - it's been years since I went to one (With my old CX at the Peterborough showground in the late 90s I think!)

Looking forward to getting some advice on my recently acquired Activa!

Long story but I've been stitched up by my company into doing a parachute jump on Saturday morning down the road so hopefully I'll survive to meet you!

Actually, the plane goes right over the Skylark I believe so you could have a very individual entrance to the rally if you wanted to!

I'll see if they'll attach the parachute to the car ;-) Now THAT would be an entrance!

Can't tell you how happy I am to be a Citroen owner again!
