Wow 2 Renault 25 V6 Turbos???

I hope the dCi Laguna hasn't put you off Renaults for good.

I have heard some bad things about the dci engine in the laguna but tbh the first one wasn't a bad car at all , it did have a gearbox at 15k under warranty before I got it , the second laguna which my wife presently runs was bought from her company with 96k on the clock in August 2006 and required a Turbo at 100k and a new intercooler ( luckily the turbo was covered but not the intercooler ) , it had new rear subframe bushes at about 112k (£160) and has just had the clutch master cylinder replaced due to the pedal sticking down(£100) the car is now on 128k and is returning high 40's to the gallon back and forward to work , I know they can be a pig but after nearly five years ours hasn't been too bad ( prefer the 2.1td xantia though)

Glad to hear that Mark. I love the Laguna II, most people just don't give them a chance.

I don't like diesels so I've never bought a dCi and don't plan to, but my petrol Lags are going well - there should be a 3.0 V6 added in to the mix soon :D

I have turned to the dark side years ago ( BMW 323i E30 x2 BMW 528i E28 x2 ) but as nice as they were I always went back to the French stuff everytime , the ph1 + 2 R25 turbos were mighty impressive cars
