The wind was really strong, no wonder my C5s MPG was into V6 figures on the way down  Mind there might have been another contributing factor to that too.

Ill upload some of my pictures shortly, though I didnt take many, mostly of yesterday.

Jim, Xantias were very thin on the ground yesterday too, I spotted just one ... mine

Xms and C6s ruled the show for both days it would seem.

My dad was surprised to recieve the best in show award for the traction, so that was nice, thanks to all who voted for it. Indeed there was some very stiff competition.
The Traction was certainly deserving of the award. Magnificently restored.

I was waiting to see what this was, but can see that "new V6" went instead?

 Maybe, though I think there are a fair few more around ... yesterday after looking at them all day I spotted a red one on my way home. Red ones are nice 8-)

Yes.. Originally Paul (CitroenXM) was going to go in his Series 1 V6 Xantia following its restoration. His is an exact twin of my old V6 and we intended to present them as a matched pair.

Sadly, the cost of the final bits to get it on the road, especially insurance, scuppered plans.

I took my new V6 simply because old V6 is due her MOT tomorrow and she's all ready and prepared for it. I have a funny old habit of getting a car ready for an MOT a week or so early and then not using it until after the test.

I quietly broke for the border and slipped back into England before they spotted me....

I'm happy to say Rothegar did too :D I saw him safely depart the M1 at Junction 29 on his way home....

Thanks Steve :) It was looking rather filthy! It is as good as it ever has been now. Its nice that it doesnt have a lot of the usual old car hold backs of being noisey, wondering and slow on the road either, you can actually use it. Im sure we will have it at one or two more events this year.

Here are a few of my pictures from yesterday and today.

Had a great couple of days and a lovely drive home in the XM.

The traction was absolutely stunning and 100% deserved the best car of the show award.

It was great to finally be able to out faces to names.

Will upload some of my pictures tomorrow.

Pah I think you FCF boys have your XM tinted specs on again  on Sunday us BX boys were very much out in force, I counted up well over a dozen! 8-) and none with the Bonnets up having lexias plugged into them too.......

Great show though, asides the weather, the 25mpg out of the TZI, well done to all those who entered (I didnt).

I did a Lexia job on an XM for Becky off the XM List however it wasn't for a fault. Her Lexia wouldn't talk to it so we tried mine to see if it worked.
