I'll also add that I think this site is excellent and you are a friendly bunch. It's nice to be accepted even though I drive a lowly 106, other sites can be quite snobby and the 106 specific sites are full to the brim with boyracers. Good job. 8-)

Erm, sorry. Forgot to comment on the new masthead.

Yep, looks pretty good but will it display properly on various resolution screens? 1024 pixels wide is pretty much the minimum nowadays.

If you're going to put marque badges on (legalities permitting) then you need to put all of them on.

Thanks for the positive reactions folks.

As described before, I see an elastic element of the banner for widescreen or
differing resolutions to be in the black portion between the chevrons and
the flag with infinite black showing no stepping. Sure a mega wide screen
would produce a lot of black but the actual forum pate beneath would start
to get too widely distorted anyway.

The Marques shown are as per the existing forum title in purely alphabetic
order and in fact the content very much follows this as it's reference / guide.
There's the x3 AFAIK - Cit / Pug / Reggie. Logos; yes, potentially a minefield
if the company guardians are out spoiling for a fight. I would argue it's not
misrepresentation of their brands or profiteering in any form from their
association but a formal request would very likely either be met by outright
hostility or enthusiasm - take your pick? Not sure TBH.

Can't you tell I've already flipped them? ;) :-**

Hang on. Do you mean the older / anciens marques such as Panhard, Matra
Alpine? Very niche but we could have a 4th Anciens category I guess...

who'd post there? Who'd reply!!!??? :D

In that case add Talbot and Simca!

It's odd but I always think of Talbot as being British, as an old neighbour had a Sunbeam Talbot, so it was etched firmly in my mind from then on.

I don't know why but I always associate Simca with Czechoslovakia :!:

What screen resolution do you use?
We knew it would crop the end off those on smaller screens, so time to upgrade! :D

I don't know if it is possible but would it be a good idea to put a link on each of the logos its part of the forum. E.g Citroen logo links to the Citroen forum?
