MY name is Mick Popka

Post by mpopka »

Greetings fellow List-folk.
My name is Mick Popka and I'm a Citroholic!

First symptoms of this appeared in the mid 1980's when I gradually worked my way through a succession of Traction Avant models until I "Bit the Bullet" and Joined the Traction Owners Club. This was followed in 1987 by my acquisition of a 1949 11BL.

Time and Miles (18 years and 250,000 miles) passed until in 2004 I went out and bought a 1961 DS19. The past 7 years has seen much time spent and very few miles, but 2011 will be the year of reckoning!

In May 2010 I made the mistake of taking a 1976 AMI8 for a test drive, and fell in love with it!

You can see them all here: http://www.traction-owners.co.uk/DS/index.htm

So what else?

Well, I'm the Web-Monkey for the Traction Owners Club, See: http://www.traction-owners.co.uk
and for a new site which has recently been set up:
www.classic-citroen-tech.co.uk

and if that wasn't enough...........,

I'm also the Secretary and Webmonkey for the team that will deliver the 15th ICCCR in Yorkshire in 2012 - and if you don't know what that is, then look here: www.icccr2012.org.uk

Enough?

I look forward to meeting you in Yorkshire in August 2012!

Regards
Mick

Thank You Jim for the welcome.

Be sure to have a look at the posting I'm writing regarding the 2012 ICCCR... should be there in the next 10 minutes...

It includes a "world exclusive" on your forum regarding the cut-off date for the advance discount......!
