hello all, has anyone ever changed a xantia 1.6 rear box themselves??, as mine as just snapped off, is it hard to do also would i need anything like exhaust paste etc.....

Well it was pretty easy on my 2.1TD, tip is to buy a new clamp at the same time. Firegum or similar isn't a bad idea on the sealing joint but not essential.
However I found out I could have had it done at ATS for only £5 more and I wouldn't say it was worth the aggravation to save a fiver.

cheers mark, decide it would be far easier to let the garage deal with it, cost me £50 fitted, they fitted a brand of exhaust made by 'UNIVESAL', has anyone heard of this make??
