forum playing up again, messages refuse to post and a report comes up on the screen "in safe mode".
Citroen Xantia S2 1.9 TD estate 189K soon to be broken for parts Jan 2017 headlamps & radiator fan assembly already spoken for & A 1987 Citroen 2CV6 special just for fun.
New addition Citroen C5 2.0 HDi Exclusive Hatch purchased 09/12/2016 with 83K on the clock.

Haven't had any problems here Nigel.
Try clearing your cache - or run CCleaner, then reboot.

I've not been aware of any problems at all. It was fine for me but then again I was not awake at the time you were Nigel.

The only thing I can think is this might be the time when any updates will be downloaded and applied to the forum servers...

I'm not saying it's an FCF site problem but FYI...

I have witnessed two recent occurences of very slow page displays recently but more confusing is some posts are showing as unread when I've already read them while some new posts are not, leading to me missing them completely.

I have had a few instances of that. Clear cache/run CCleaner and/or use a different browser for a while.

Google Chrome or Chromium seems to work well with this site.

I posted last night but it's not showing today.

The slow page loading (seems to stick on the category icons that show if posts are new or old) continues to the point today I get

"phpBB : Critical Error

Could not connect to the database"
