Help Panic
MOT is due in a week time and the BX TZD is leaking Fluid( pool of stuff underneath OSF). I had left the car set in the High position (due to a passenger being disable), car had dropped after a while and pool of fluid had appear, this is the first time there seem to be a problem. Any Suggestion ?

May not even be a problem.
Possible that when it was put on full height, it may have just overflowed the LHM tank as it went back down. Other than that, it may be leaking from the return pipe from the strut.
Degrease & hose it off & check on normal setting when it's dried out. There's a chance that it may only be a one off incident. Isolate where it's coming from before you panic, let us know and we can all panic together <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

Hi Glenn - Have you had the octopus replaced? If not, it's likely on a BX that by now the rubber will have gone brittle and is leaking. Usually shows itself around and behind the front o/s wheel.

Thanks for the replies, we can all stop panicking, the Octopus (Spider so I am told) has died, hope this is the end of my problems
well for now anyway.

Hi Glenn - A new one will cost you around £20 from Andyspares, plus a rather messy days work replacing it.
