Email button
Rather than have email addresses displayed openly in posts there is a button at the bottom of each members every post that activates your email client and sends to their address given when signing up.
It has come to our attention in this thread that at least some members are not able to see this button
Can you all vote for whether or not this button is visible to you and if you wish comment on what operating system and browser you use as this may be a factor.
Note that some members have elected not to display their email address so the button will not be visible in their posts anyway. The majority should have it though.

Not as odd as you might think - apparently my profile had been changed to not show it, although it was still visible to me, as the screenshot shows.xantia_v6 wrote:I can now see the email in your posts (in this and the original thread), but I surely could not see it in the earlier thread at the time I posted. I could however (at that time) see the email button on other posts in the same thread. Odd.
Using Opera 10.53 on XP.
Xac spotted that. Why it should have changed is a mystery.
Can you see the button on the majority of posts though?

I wasn't aware that there was a possible problem before - I just assumed (apparently correctly) that it was because the email address was hidden.
Anyway, I can confirm that it's now visible in the first post (and a few others).

As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

By default profiles have it set to not show others your email button.
Admins of course can always see everyone's.
