Surely you can do the webserver with one hand and the V6 gearbox with the other?
Or is that a woman's job :D (multitasking)

Steve, I'm not that good

Besides, I'll end up with an oily keyboard if I do that...

She's up and running \:D/

I have a test FCF running at www.xantiav6.co.uk/forum if you'd like to take a look.

Have a look at the speed :D

Bit of headscratching. Windows Server 2008 and a new version of Plesk to get my head around

Things may slow for a bit as I have a big FTP transfer to do in a while.

Can't see any speed difference Jim but that is doubtless to do with my download speed, approx 1MB/S.
Looks smooth though 8)

Some delay might be because of FTP transfers I'm doing and database backups...

It does seem quicker though...

Yes, the new site is definitely quicker. There's less of a...

after clicking on a subject.

Yes, I've looked at it away from home and it seems to go quite well. It's looking good...

I have both test FCF and BXC forums up now and they both seem stable at the moment.

If it survives the day (and night), I shall migrate the forums over to it early tomorrow morning starting at about 0500 'ish. I'll disable the forums before taking the transfer backup going for it...

No, I'm always up at around that time Paul. As soon as I wake I'm up. I cannot lie in however hard I try :( If I do, I feel shocking

It comes of being the son of a deaf postman. Dad used to get up a 4 and to do so he needed a seriously loud alarm clock. He used to make his own by fitting a contact set in a wind-up Wesclox and that, via a battery, would ring a fire bell.

These days, he'd be arrested on suspicion of making a bomb - alarm clock with wire hanging out of it - very dodgy

The downside is that whilst it woke dad up, it woke everyone else as well...

Hence the lifelong habit of being an early riser...

Good news :D

The new server is all ready to go, appears good, so we will be moving to it tomorrow morning. As said, I'll be doing it in the small hours.

You'll know the migration has been successful as the spotty favicon will be replaced by a double chevron...
