Hi there,
Can anyone recommend a decent service centre to service my 1.9TD injectors or, am I better off getting reconditioned ones. Also, does anywhere service fuel pumps or turbo's or am I best getting reconditioned itmes?
Cheers.

Are you sure your injectors need servicing? Before going to any expense why not give a couple of bottles of injector cleaner a try. My BXTZD (which I have just handed on) at 11 years old and 120K miles is still running well on its original squirters, having had the occasional treatment of Redex diesel. Any service centre checking injectors would also be able to service a pump. Where are you situated?
Agree with above - my old BX did 170,000 (and is still going strong at over 200k) and present one has done 140k without pump or injectors being touched. I use Millers dieselclean (when I can find it) and when car has been a little smoky this seems to cure it. They say it also cleans and lubricates the whole fuel sysem including the pump.

Does no harm in checking the injectors, i have a ZXTD Volcane with 102,000 on the clock, as a matter of routine maintenance, i removed the injectors and had them checked and cleaned only to find the nozzle tips were shot. I used Malvern Diesel (in Malvern, Worcs) who were excellent, they replaced the tips and cleaned them thoroughly so they looked like new on return for just £22.50 inc. The car now starts on all cylinders simultaneously and smokes very little - money well spent i think.
