Gearbox oil Change

I recently bought a bx 16tzs ,I'm in the process of trying to bring it back to it's former Glory !According to the service book the gearbox oil is due to be changed,however the Hanyes Manual is'nt very helpfull, is there a drain plug ? (BX 16 TZS 1992,)what oil should I use ?

Not to Worry I found the Drain Plug !!!!!

Darren,
The oil used in Citroen gearboxes is normally 80 grade. There is some debate as to whether you should use synthetic or mineral oil, with the concensus of opinion being that it should be mineral, whilst synthetic or semi-synth is the recommended one for the engine.
A word to the wise, be sure to use the correct amount which should be 1.6 or 1.8 from memory. Premeasure as it is possible to overfill in some models they tell me & overfull engines and/or gearboxes have the nasty habit of pressurizing seals & leaking into & causing the failure of clutches.
