Hi guys
So I need to replace my gearbox actuator on my Sensodrive C2, I was initially going to refurb it but now I think i’ll Get a new part instead. That being said i’ve Read so many issues about dodgy clones of Lexia, can anyone suggest a legitimate one that will allow me to programs the new actuator??
Thanks

Re: Lexia help please!
Hi Damian.
All the aftermarket Lexias are clones I'm afraid - the genuine articles are only supplied to PSA by Actia under agreement and cost a fortune and are leased.
That said, there are clones and there are clones - I can only suggest you buy a kit from a reputable seller. There are several in the UK, and they provide backup which a lot of the others don't.
Also, if you are going to invest in one, get a full chip Revision C unit. Anything under £80 ish mark is not likely to be the full ticket.
Check out the sticky in the Diagnostics section for details of a UK member-recommended supplier, for which there is also a discount. Other suppliers are available too.

Re: Lexia help please!
You will also want a laptop running a 32bit O/S (Windows XP or Windows 7) with a decent amount of memory (2GB RAM minimum; the Lexia software will run with only 1GB RAM, but a crippled snail can run faster! ).
As Marc has said, there is a supplier who do a very good Lexia clone that is up to date, with the latest RECOMMENDED version of the software (which is v7.58; later versions of the software have a need to connect to the PSA systems, which we DON'T want to do), and a decent support service. I have an earlier clone from them, and I have found it to be invaluable.
