Laguna service indicator

Post by David W »

Guys,
Servicing a 1997 Laguna diesel today and we don't have the car's handbook. How do you reset the service indicator?
Thanks,
David

Try holding the trip recorder button in, turning the ignition on and keeping the trip button pressed for ten seconds (maybe longer).
It worked for my Xantia, a Xsara and an Astra.

Many thanks Homer, that was the only idea I had but it just reset the trip. It's actually a 1998 car and I wonder if it needs some sort of diagnostic device plugged in.
Any other thoughts from Renault guys appreciated.

sometimes if you disconnect the battery for a while -overnight say the board computer resets its self ,it can do no harm if it works good if not try to find a local mechanic with a diagnostic computer
on my Safrane it plugs into a socket in the armrest box
