Intercoolers/Performance

Hi I did some adjustments to my diesel pump a few months ago,rotated the eccentric cam inside and screwed the boost compensator down,improving the bottom end pick up on my 97 Renault Safrane 2.2TD big heavy car ,it needed it. I was readig about intercoolers ,bigger or more efficiet intercooler = easy power increase ,my car has a good
size intercooler already,I was wondering if anyone had tried mounting
a fan, like a radiator fan wired to the battery or a dashboard switch
If anybody has any opinions on this lets hear them.
