Scenic starting problems

My 1998 1.6 Rt is beginning to do my head in. When the engine is warm or cold, it really doesnt matter, it sometimes takes about 7 turns to fire up. I have just serviced it including plugs and fuel filter. Sometimes it goes for days with no problem then does it again, frequently 2 or 3 times a day. Does it sound like the firing lead or coil packs (this is what the dealer suggests) or maybe something else? Computer diagnosis at £40 a pop has failed to diagnose the fault. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
