I have a 1998 S reg Megane Coupe 16e Sport which is driving me mad. For the last three weeks it has had problems ideling, it seems to want to stall at the drop of a hat and often "coughs" while moving.
I think it might be the Lambda Sensor but i am not sure. I cleaned the sensor and it improved a bit. Renault are useless and only want to take it in and charge me lots of money for a diagnostic.
I am thinking about changing the Lambda but before i do so, has anyone else any thoughts?
